Chinese Acrobats

So, for the past few days I went on vacation to Branson, MO. While there we went to see a Chinese Circus! It was very cool, and we got to sit in the middle of the front row! The performers are from Shanghai and don’t speak any english, which is unfortunate…Some of the guys were really cute…I did get a picture with one of them after the show though and that’s enough for me ^^ My daddy also bought their dvd so I can watch it whenever I want and I got autographs from all of the performers. I suggest anyone planning a trip to Branson to go see the show because it was amazing!

ACT Time!

I tossed and turned in my bed until I could finally take no more. When I got up it was about 5:50 am…I was so tired but then I drank some coffee and then I was just nervous….extremely anxiously nervous <.<”  It didn’t help when I found out that it was that time of the month…gee thanks mother nature (=n=)” . Then I went to school at 7:30am and took the dreaded ACT! I think I actually did OK, not great but OK. Then the rest of the day was pretty boring…there is a tornado/thunder storm warning but I’m not too worried about it. Right now I’m kinda in a depressing mood, not exactly sure about the cause of it yet but it probably has a little bit to do with a YouTube video I watched earlier….I was watching part of an episode of Naruto. I think it was episode 247? It was the episode when Naruto’s mother tells him about how his father and her met…It’s not the cartoon so much that made me depressed, but it just made me feel…lonely, I guess? Anyways, that’s about it, later!

Happy Late Easter! E=3

Yesterday was Easter and it was also my cousin’s birthday so my family and I celebrated both at our house. My little cousins had an Easter egg hunt and we had an Oreo+mint ice cream cake, yum~

On Saturday, I bought a pair of cute nude high heel/pumps to wear with my prom dress. Today I went out to lunch with my mom and sister, then I had to go to my tennis game. I had to play with the JV team today because a few of their players were missing so they had Ashley (#5 varsity) and I (#6 varsity) play #1 and #2 on the JV team. I lost my singles match, but I did well; I was losing at first 2-5 but I brought it back up to 6-6 and then I lost the tie-breaker. =/ Ashley and I also got to a tie-breaker in our doubles match, but we ended up winning. I did really well I think, especially since I am not quite used to my new tennis racquet yet.

Any-who, today was the last day of my Easter break, I’m not really looking forward to school tomorrow, but I’ve missed a couple of my friends, I guess. Also, we haven’t had tennis practice in a little more than a week, so I’m kind of glad we have practice tomorrow, ha ha! I think I’m going to bed soon so good-nighty!

I FINALLY WON!

YES! I won my first tennis match of the season yesterday! At 8am on Saturday I will have another match and coach said he might have me play #2 singles! That’s a HUGE jump from #6! I am also starting to get tan lines =[ …and right before prom too! Oh well, they aren’t too noticeable and my dress covers them for the most part. Also, this week I have been asked to prom by my guy friend (I declined), was asked if I wanted to go see a movie my another guy in my class (it was on facebook chat, but I didn’t see it until the next day…), and I’m texting another boy in my class soo…I feel pretty popular this week =]

Well, I think that’s it, bye!

Seoul or Tokyo? +A Brief Tennis Update!

I don’t know if I want to go to Japan or South Korea… maybe I should go to both? …I would like to stay in one of those places for a while maybe for college exchange, or become an English teacher there. It doesn’t have to be Seoul or Tokyo, it could be a smaller city; I might actually prefer a smaller city. However, if I do go to one of these places, I would like to learn the languages before I go there and I’m afraid that if I try to learn both languages I will get confused…Please feel free to comment on this topic, I would like to hear your questions, comments, and concerns =]

In other news, my tennis game was cancelled yesterday due to rain. Actually we were going to play until one of my team mates slipped on the court and the other team got scared, I think, and called off the game. Then, today, our practice got cancelled (even though it was beautiful outside) It did rain later in the day, but I think practice would’ve normally been over by that time. Tomorrow I might buy a prom dress! I will try to give an update tomorrow.

All in all, it was pretty boring today, but I did teach myself a few korean words! Annyonghi-geseyo! (formal goodbye if you are leaving; informal is: Jal-it-ssoe)

Junior Class Retreat and First Tennis Match!

Today my junior class had a half day of school (Yay!) due to our class retreat. We have a retreat one day each year for each different class. It is basically a religious day to get to know your classmates better… it was kind of boring, but all of us got letters from our parents/guardians; mine made me cry a little bit. =;] We got out at Noon and my dad and I went out to lunch and I tried on some prom dresses too. I didn’t buy any yet though…Prom is 4 weeks away!

Later, about 4:00pm, we had a tennis game. It was our first game of the season, our opponent’s first as well. I ended up losing my match 3 to 8 but I have actually improved A LOT since last year, the coach and my dad noticed as well. It was also the first time I played on the Varsity team. There are only 11 girls on our team and I am ranked #6 so far, which isn’t too bad, we are a small but strong team and we will only keep getting better as the season goes on!

Tomorrow we will have another game, I will post my results for that one tomorrow if I remember. ^w^ Bye for now though!

Tired Tired Monday…and Lucky?!

WAH! I’m so tired, TTATT but I feel like I should post something so…here goes!

So, this weekend was exciting (for me, mind you) I got to go shopping =]. I bought a keychain of Son Goku in Super Saiyan form and two manga books (One was for my sister) I got the first issue of Tokyo Boys and Girls (which I highly enjoyed and would recommend to those who like Shojo/Girly/Romantic type manga). The one for my sister was the third volume of Shugo Chara. She and I have seen the whole anime (She has watched more than once though <,<“) but neither of us have read the manga so I got it for her. We went to several places after the anime store, such as an asian restaurant/supermarket and a cd tradepost (place that sells/buys cds, dvds, and videogames).

Today, I forgot to bring a shirt for tennis practice after school so for most of the day I was thinking about what I was going to do. Borrow a shirt from someone? Wear my uniform shirt? I didn’t like either of those options but…one of them would have to do! LUCKILY, in 6th period music class, my teacher said that he had recieved some free t-shirts from the company that he had make the band’s shirts. I was like “Seriously? I forgot a shirt for tennis today!”  and he was like, “ok, take your pick!”…of course there was only one medium, a large, and an extra large…so I chose the medium (which would’ve been my last choice out of the three) It had a huge picture of a skull in sunglasses and a bandana on the back of it (so embarrassing!) at least my backpack covered it until I got to the courts…The shirt was way too loose on me, but I guess it’s better than the other ideas I had. I got a free shirt in the end so, it was a pretty good deal actually! ^w^

Well, I’m about to fall asleep at the keyboard so goodnight!

Dolls Are Ment To Be Played With

Today we finally had tennis practice outside again; it was the first time this week. I think my endurance is getting better because it seems like I can run further without getting as tired as I usually do. I was also doing pretty well hitting and serving (even got praise from the coach!). I felt so cool~ is that weird?

After practice I cam home for a little while and then we drove to the next state over (which is not a long drive at all). I love that place, but I haven’t been there in about ten years! It’s hard to believe my sister, five years younger than me, had never been there before! The food there isn’t anything too special, but when you walk in the door you get to see their collection. They probably have more than ten beautiful porcelain dolls, lots of stuffed animals, three old pianos, and a wall full of miniature castles and houses. The style is what I would call a kind of Country Victorian. I like it, it’s comfortable an beautiful at the same time. Not something you would think to find in such a small town…it’s funny, I was around five years old the last time I went there, but I remembered the dolls being there, I didn’t remember anything else about it though.

Well, that’s all I think. Bye!~

Rainy Days and an Old Quote…

After two straight days of tennis practice being cancelled due to rain, coach decided to have a short practice inside the school since it was raining once again. The weather has been so strange lately (stranger than usual at least); last week it was scorching hot out and this week it’s been almost non-stop rain. Oh well, like my great uncle always said, “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.” That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it is fairly true about where we live.

I have recently stumbled upon a dance tutorial on YouTube(ah, YouTube~) for a really cool K-pop (stands for Korean Pop for those who don’t know) song~ It looks really difficult, but I think I want to learn it, or try to at least. The song is called Lovey Dovey and it is sung by a popular k-pop girl group called T-ara (i think it is pronounced tiara). If you haven’t heard it, I would definitely recommend it if you like fun upbeat music. T-ara has lots of other great songs and dances as well: such as Bo Beep, Roly Poly, or Cry Cry.

OH NOEZ! Last Day of Break! D=

This morning I went to church, after that I had pancakes for breakfast, yum~ Later, I went to Walmart since I still had a $10 gift card from christmas. I used it to buy some pretty green eye shadow to compliment my green/hazel eyes and the April 2012 edition of Shonen Jump! XD

Those are the only highlights of my day that I can think of…I can’t wait to try my new makeup tomorrow, though! Of course I’ll be happy to see my friends again too. HOWEVER, I do have to go to school and tennis practice tomorrow <,<“…At least there is only a few months left of school and Easter Break is coming up next month. I guess I’ll just do the best I can until then…bye bye!
