Chinese Acrobats

So, for the past few days I went on vacation to Branson, MO. While there we went to see a Chinese Circus! It was very cool, and we got to sit in the middle of the front row! The performers are from Shanghai and don’t speak any english, which is unfortunate…Some of the guys were really cute…I did get a picture with one of them after the show though and that’s enough for me ^^ My daddy also bought their dvd so I can watch it whenever I want and I got autographs from all of the performers. I suggest anyone planning a trip to Branson to go see the show because it was amazing!

Seoul or Tokyo? +A Brief Tennis Update!

I don’t know if I want to go to Japan or South Korea… maybe I should go to both? …I would like to stay in one of those places for a while maybe for college exchange, or become an English teacher there. It doesn’t have to be Seoul or Tokyo, it could be a smaller city; I might actually prefer a smaller city. However, if I do go to one of these places, I would like to learn the languages before I go there and I’m afraid that if I try to learn both languages I will get confused…Please feel free to comment on this topic, I would like to hear your questions, comments, and concerns =]

In other news, my tennis game was cancelled yesterday due to rain. Actually we were going to play until one of my team mates slipped on the court and the other team got scared, I think, and called off the game. Then, today, our practice got cancelled (even though it was beautiful outside) It did rain later in the day, but I think practice would’ve normally been over by that time. Tomorrow I might buy a prom dress! I will try to give an update tomorrow.

All in all, it was pretty boring today, but I did teach myself a few korean words! Annyonghi-geseyo! (formal goodbye if you are leaving; informal is: Jal-it-ssoe)

Dolls Are Ment To Be Played With

Today we finally had tennis practice outside again; it was the first time this week. I think my endurance is getting better because it seems like I can run further without getting as tired as I usually do. I was also doing pretty well hitting and serving (even got praise from the coach!). I felt so cool~ is that weird?

After practice I cam home for a little while and then we drove to the next state over (which is not a long drive at all). I love that place, but I haven’t been there in about ten years! It’s hard to believe my sister, five years younger than me, had never been there before! The food there isn’t anything too special, but when you walk in the door you get to see their collection. They probably have more than ten beautiful porcelain dolls, lots of stuffed animals, three old pianos, and a wall full of miniature castles and houses. The style is what I would call a kind of Country Victorian. I like it, it’s comfortable an beautiful at the same time. Not something you would think to find in such a small town…it’s funny, I was around five years old the last time I went there, but I remembered the dolls being there, I didn’t remember anything else about it though.

Well, that’s all I think. Bye!~

Spring Break!

This week is spring break for my school! I get to sleep in; however today, wednesday, and thursday I still have to go to tennis practice at 3:30 =P…Plus most of my friends are in DISNEYLAND right now…this spring break is gonna suck q(=3=)p…I guess I’ll just have to find other people to party with xp

By the way, sorry I haven’t written/typed in a while. tennis practice is very time consuming but hopefully I’ll be able to post more often.

Cusin’s Birthday Partay~ BD

Well, my plan was to wake up early today…I ended up sleeping in ’til 11:00 o’clock <,<“

Once I got up I had lunch, which was a bowl of soup, then I just lazed about for a while…

Finally at 1 o’clock, I decided to get dressed and at 2 we went to my cousin Kyle’s 5th Birthday party! \(^o^)/

The party in a nutshell: cute kids, chocolate cake, Thomas the Train, dog, diet pepsi, and hide and go seek!

That’s about it…yup.

Lazy Day

Today was a Lazy day…I slept in, had french toast for breakfast, and watched Ghost Adventures.

Then me, my mom, and sister all went to 5 o’clock mass. When my dad got home from work we went out to dinner at one of my favorite japanese restauraunts! I got sushi and teriyaki pork; some of the sushi I didn’t care for, but the shrimp and octopus sushi was very good! for dessert I got a banana smoothie which was also good. Right now I’m listening to Saturday Night Live on the tv and my mom’s snoring…I think I’ll go to bed soon. Night night!

Blood Drive, Shopping, and ACT (plus awkward hallway moment…)

First of all, this is a cat. –> (0x0=)~

Anywho, I’m donating my blood tomorrow! It will be the second time I’ve donated ever. I almost fainted last time; I’ll spare you the details (but you can leave a comment if you want me to tell you). I hope they will let me donate because I’ve had a runny nose the past few days. =[

We finnaly were able to practice tennis outside today, it was a bit chilly but I didn’t really mind. After that my mother and I went shopping for a tennis skirt since spring sports pictures are next week. I also got some shorts for my practices. Then we went to Target to buy some birthday cards; my great grandmother will be turning 90 soon. While we were there we stopped at starbucks and I got a caramel macchiato and a muffin, yum!

A little bit ago I regestered online to take the ACT in April. As I have probably said before in one of my other posts, I want to teach English in Japan; that is my career goal. So, when I was given the choice to choose four colleges(I could’ve added more for a fee but…) that my ACT scores would be sent to, I chose two nearby American colleges and then I picked two colleges that are in Japan that welcome foreigners(Gaijins in japanese). I cannot wait to see if they will respond to my scores!

The last thing I wanted to write about today was the very awkward moment I had in the hallway today…So, I was walking to 7th period study hall staying to the right side of the hallway like I’m supposed to and I see the school principal walking and looking down the sophomore hallway. Nothing unusual yet, but then when I tried to get go around him I realized I was cornered. There was a really tall kid next to me (I’m about 5ft 3.5-4in tall) so it was impossible for me to go around him…The principal isn’t exactly a skinny man so his belly hits me first O_e. Now, you would think he would at least stop as soon as He runs into me, but instead he acts like I’m not even there and continues to push past me! I don’t know how other people would react to this but I felt extremely invaded and I almost wanted to cry…The upside is that I had something to talk about with the cute guy in my study hall =]
